PSA Blog

From January to March 6 we had a PSA due in class. Ann, Ashlee, Tim, Brady and I all chose to do a PSA on human or sex trafficking. We chose to do this subject because it will always be a pressing issue and will never end. In this video we had struggles of finding people who would act, so we ended up using our own group members. As a group we couldnt always find time to film together so that was the most difficult part of our filming process. We had an idea of what to do for the film from the start so that was easier. We wanted something creepy and scary since this subject is creepy and scary to all. Ashlee directed and edited, I helped film and edit and direct, and Tim filmed. Brady helped act. Semester 1 Final

This Semester in e-communication I created multiple different types of videos. Such as a commercial, a music video, a short film and a through my eyes.    COMMERCIAL   For this years commercial, we did a Polaroid commercial. It went over the span of memories, while a girl was heading off to college. We wanted to originally do a video where it was a girlfriend and a boyfriend having to separate for college but we decided to go with a sister and her younger brother because it fit better and was easier to get actors for it. Truthfully, I wasn't very proud of this project. Mostly because we had a lot of issues going into it. I have truly learned how to simply use the softwares enough to allow me to create projects that look like a professional made them. I have never used these softwares prior to this program and I am proud to say that I learned multiple things from these softwares.  Technology is so important in the age we live in, being its 2017.
